Itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades/Tinghir
Drive Time: ~5 hrs 40 mins
Departing early, you’ll travel through the majestic High Atlas Mountains toward the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou—a UNESCO World Heritage Site for an optional tour of the site. After lunch (not included), continue toward the Dades or Tinghir area for your overnight stay.

Day 2: Dades – Todra Gorge – Merzouga
Drive Time: ~4 hrs 45 mins
After breakfast, drive through the striking Todra Gorge before heading to Merzouga. In the late afternoon, mount a camel for a sunset ride into the dunes. Settle into your desert camp for a memorable night of local food, drumming, and stargazing.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert Excursion
Wake early for sunrise views over Erg Chebbi. Then explore the surrounding desert in a 4x4, meet nomadic families, enjoy Gnaoua music, and relax with tea and traditional Berber hospitality. Evening includes dinner and music around the campfire.

Day 4: Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Drive Time: ~8 hrs 30 mins
Return to Marrakech via Ouarzazate and the scenic High Atlas. Stops today are brief due to the full travel day, with lunch (not included) en route. Expect to arrive back in Marrakech between 7–9 PM.
Important Notes:
Lunches: Not included. On this route, most restaurants cater to tourists and are more expensive. While a few cheaper options exist, we choose stops that prioritize food safety and cleanliness.
Deluxe Upgrade: Applies to the desert camp only, which includes private ensuite bathrooms and upgraded bedding. These are high-comfort tents—but still in the desert. Expect sand, heat in summer, and chilly nights in winter.
Driving Time: The distances between destinations are long. This tour is best for travelers who understand that reaching the Sahara involves full travel days. We include scenic/photo stops and bathroom breaks, but most stops (except Ait Ben Haddou) are brief.
Water & Beverages: Not included. Please bring cash (Dirhams) for lunch, water, and drinks during the tour.
WhatsApp Required: We must have a working WhatsApp number once you arrive in Morocco to coordinate your pickup.
Shared vs. Private Tour Inclusions:
Shared Tours: Ait Ben Haddou guide not included. You may join a group tour on arrival (~€2 per person).
Private Tours: Includes a licensed guide in Ait Ben Haddou, and the option for alternative return routes.
