Visiting sahara desert Cairo Egypt

“Visiting sahara desert Cairo Egypt

The desert doesn’t care who you are. It strips you bare until only your true self remains.” — Paul Atreides (“Dune”)

That’s exactly why Black & White Desert trip is my favorite - to organize and to join myself. It’s been less than 24 hours since I’m back to Cairo and I terribly miss:
• waking up before the sunrise in deep silence witnessing the day taking its turn after the night
• hearing scrunchy, almost whispering voice of sand beneath my feet - a dry sigh with each step

• zero notifications from the outer world
• walking barefoot for 3 days
• dipping my feet into the sand which is still cool from the night while the morning sun starts wrapping your body
• sipping a cup of freshly brewed coffee while sitting on the ground
• letting my intrusive thoughts win and rolling down as a sausage from a dune
• lighting candles in the Djara Cave and having freshly cooked lunch right inside it
• letting my tent open for the night and waking up every few hours just to be amazed with deep dark sky full of clear stars
• waking up in the morning to find fennec foxes’s trails around - cute night time visitors in a look for some snacks or shoes to steal
The list can go on endlessly…

It’s an experience in Egypt not to miss if you are looking for a lifetime soul-stirring adventure and if you love hunting one of a kind experiences in the nature.
